The Miami Valley Restaurant Association prides itself on being an organization that takes pride in the city and community it works to support. The MVRA recognizes and appreciates diversity not only when it comes to good food and drink, but in our society as well.
We at the MVRA would like to extend our apologizes to our patrons and supporters in the Jewish community as we are aware that this year's Taste of Miami Valley falls on Yom Kippur. Traditionally the Taste has always been scheduled within the first weeks of September as it is one of the only times that will not conflict with other events at Riverscape. We do not mean any disrespect to members of the Jewish community, however it was just not an option to reschedule the Taste at this time.
The MVRA will do it's very best to avoid this conflict in the future as we do not want to exclude any of our supporters or patrons from our events. We hope that you will understand, and continue to support us in our future endeavors.
Sincerely,
The Miami Valley Restaurant Association |
